ABOUT ME
Hi! Thank you for visiting the site! Here is some more about me.

I am a student at Georgia Institute of Technology studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. Previously, I attended Emory University where I majored in Economics and Math and minored in Portuguese. As part of Emory's Dual Degree Program with Georgia Tech, I will graduate in December 2018 with two degrees: a BA from Emory and a BS from Georgia Tech.

Since participating in a high school exchange program to Nyeri, Kenya, I have been fascinated with issues such as poverty alleviation and economic development. My interest led me to participate in a 6-week internship with NGO Moche, Inc. during my time at Emory. Working with a team of Emory students, I planned and implemented projects to improve quality of life in a rural community of Trujillo, Peru.

The Engineering for Social Innovation research group of the VIP program at Georgia Tech was the perfect way for me to continue to pursue my passion for improving quality of life while applying my engineering knowledge.
